Bitcoin Price to Rise for about $1 Million as Forecasted by Jesse Lund, Head of Blockchain & Digital Currencies at IBM

IBM’s head of blockchain solutions says he expects the value of Bitcoin to achieve $1 million. In an interview with Finder.com, Jesse expects Bitcoin can rebound by the top of the year. And within the end of the day, metropolis predicts the value of BTC can skyrocket to seven figures.

In a video interview uploaded on YouTube on Feb. 20 by comparison platform Finder.com states that Jesse Lund, VP of blockchain for IBM is bullish on Bitcoin.

Lund, who earlier worked for Wells Fargo, anticipated that Bitcoin would reach $1 million, despite the fact that he didn’t state when.

“I see Bitcoin at 1,000,000 bucks sometimes,” he said.

Lund also anticipated that the digital resource would complete the year higher than its present cost and in the long run, it will reach $1 million sooner or later.

Lund figures an upward projection for the world’s most prevalent digital currency in spite of the bear market.

His prediction was based on the logic that if Bitcoin hits $1 million, then Satoshi’s value will be on par with the U.S. penny, making liquidity of over $20 trillion on the network.

He sees Bitcoin on the next upward mechanical phenomenon and thinks that the digital quality would shut the year over its current value.

According to Lund, a number of banks have already signed letters of intent to join the platform.

“We’re aiming to be supporting over fifty countries out of the gate, thirty to forty currencies, and enough market makers to drag along 30 or 40 banks. So we’ll have a big portion of the planet covered. We’ve got letters of intent with many banks around the world to support and issue digital currencies, stablecoins, and different currencies. Our goal is to expand that network still and to produce world coverage at intervals 3 to 5 years wherever you’ll be able to send remittances in an exceedingly consistent method, like a shot, at a meager cost, from anywhere in the world to anywhere in the world.”

Jesse Lund spoke to Fred Schebesta noting that by the end of 2019, he expects Bitcoin to be at a casual $5,000. This represents a mere twenty-fifth over current value levels. Yet, it ought to be somewhat consoling, especially considering the number of analysts that are forecasting a fall to $1,800, $1,700, or even $1,165.

From afar longer-term outlook, he kept his tacitly bullish tones. Lund noted that Bitcoin commercialism at $1,000,000 isn’t exactly off the table. The IBM govt even quipped that he likes that figure, as each Satoshi would be valued at $0.01 at that point. Fundamentally, he further quoted that a seven-figure valuation would provide Bitcoin $20 trillion in network liquidity, creating company payments on the blockchain an opportunity.

Lund’s long-term prediction was undoubtedly nebulous and unbelievable, but he isn’t the only expecting for BTC to break out of its quintuple-digit cell. The following is a roundup of recently-issued predictions.
